Recruiting for research, improving our health
Diabetes in Scotland.
Approximately 5%, or 250,000 individuals in Scotland have Diabetes and this is increasing year on year. Diabetes can cause major health problems and more research is needed to prevent and treat this condition. New treatments are urgently required and your help is critical for this.
Give your permission to be contacted about diabetes research.
The Scottish Diabetes Research Network’s Research Register gives all patients with diabetes, living in Scotland, an opportunity to be contacted about taking part in research projects. The SDRN is now partnered with SHARE to provide opportunites to hear about research opportunities beyond Diabetes. This is an exciting new venture to ask everyone in Scotland with Diabetes to join up to the research register. Please sign up today and also tell your friends and family.
